BizPAct visits - Kandy

During September BizPAct staff with the Sri Lankan blogger, Indi, travelled around to meet some of the entrepreneurs whose projects are featured on this site.

In Kandy they spoke with Ms Mona Chandon who wants to revive and expand her apparel business. They also spent some time at the handloom factory of Mr Balanathan. He wants to significantly expand his production and needs external investment to achieve this. In addition they visited Mr Swarnatilleke at his well-known scientific instrument company. He has a proposal to develop a business by re-cycling waste plastic. Finally they met with Mr Ishmail of Bughary Brothers Spice business. He also has ambitious expansion plans based on his many years experience in the spice business.
